After Hours
We understand the importance of obtaining medical advice from a pediatric nurse, so we have made sure you have access to one at all times. After clinic hours, you have the option to speak with a pediatric night-call nurse who is trained in the telephone management of children's medical problems. This service is provided by Triage Logic.
Just a reminder, you can click on the For Parents tab at the top of the screen for answers to common questions, including symptoms of illnesses, medicine dosages, etc.
When our office is closed, you may either leave a message for our nurse at the office to address in the morning or to speak with a pediatric nurse immediately. Simply call our office phone number, (907) 562-2944, and choose the option most appropriate for your needs:
- Press 3 to leave a voice message for our pediatric nurse to address your concern/need in the morning. This would be appropriate for routine questions (mild illness, appointments, prescription refills). We encourage you to refer to our website or use your patient portal when practical.
- Press 4 if you need to speak with a trained pediatric nurse urgently. They will listen to your concerns and advise you appropriately. If necessary, the nurse will notify the physician on-call. Our office receives a copy of your phone call to make us aware of any concerns you have had while we have been away and to place in your child's medical record.
