James Foster MD, FAAP

Dr. Foster has been a pediatrician for over 25 years. He received his MD from University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Medicine and subsequently did an internship and residency at The University of Connecticut Health Science Center (now Connecticut Childrens Medical Center). He practiced for almost twenty years in Key West, Florida before relocating permanently to Alaska in 2003. He and his wife of 40 years have three children and five grandchildren. They enjoy hunting, diving, fishing, flying and recreational dog mushing with occasional racing aspirations.  They are members of the Chugiak Dog Mushers Association and are avid fans of the Tide. "I bleed crimson and white".
