Flu Vaccine is Still Available

as of 9/28/2016
There is only injectable flu vaccine available this year (see our Facebook post on September 20th for the reasons why).

Flu vaccine may be given starting at 6 months of age.

As always, if your child is a patient at our office, feel free to walk-in to have your children vaccinated. The best times to come are:  Monday-Friday 8:00am-7:30pm (avoiding 12:00-1:00pm), Saturday 8:30-11:30am, and Sunday 11:00am-2:30pm.

CDC recommends getting vaccinated against flu soon after the vaccine becomes available.  It takes about two weeks after vaccination for antibodies to develop in the body and provide protection against the flu.
