After Hours Procedures

We understand the importance of obtaining medical advice from a pediatric nurse, so we have made sure you have access to one at all times. After clinic hours, you have the option to speak with a pediatric night-call nurse who is trained in the telephone management of children's medical problems.  This service is provided by Sacred Heart Children's Triage Program in Spokane, Washington.

When our office is closed, you may either leave a message for our nurse at the office to address in the morning or to speak with a pediatric nurse immediately.  Simply call our office phone number, 562-2944, and choose the option most appropriate for your needs:
  • Press 3 to leave a voice message for our pediatric nurse to address your concern/need in the morning.  This would be appropriate for routine questions (mild illness, appointments, prescription refills).  We encourage you to refer to our website or use your patient portal when practical.
  • Press 4 to speak with a trained pediatric nurse who will listen to your concerns and advise you appropriately.  If necessary, the nurse will notify the physician on-call.  Our office receives a copy of your phone call to make us aware of any concerns you have had while we have been away and to place in your child's medical record.
To select from one of our custom messages, select "edit" above.  Or if you wish to write your own, you may erase this text and write your own.
